2011 Points Champion goes to Jim Staples and his beautiful vintage Corvette! Jim had the most consistent hotrod all season long and it paid off. Congrats to Mr. Staples from the fans and Tex275!

Runner up goes to Trevor Stripling of Houston Texas in his stock suspension 67 Camaro. Trevor holds the class record in both E.T. and MPH. Can he hold off the Staples Vette in 2012? Stay tuned to the Tex275, 2012 season and find out! Rumor has it both Staples and Stripling are upping their programs for 2012.

Look out for the hatch Mustang owned by Miguel Varela. Miguel won the last race in bracket racing style. Miguel ran a consistent string of low 5.20's to take the win in the finals over Stephen Barnett from Houston Texas. Small Block Ford To The Front, and you know the rest of the story! Another car to keep an eye on is the 67 Camaro owned and driven by Greg Moss. Greg has laid down some impressive times in testing but yet to deliver those times in competition. Keep an eye on this super clean 67 BBC Camaro. Scott Pearson in his white notch turbo Mustang gained ground at every race. Scott's car is one of the cleanest cars in the class and makes enough MPH to excell over the top. Once he gets the short track figured out, look out! Keep an eye on this car in 2012. Something say's "Houston doesn't have a problem"! 2012 could put that cliché to rest, time will tell!

Tex275 wants to thank the track owners/management, racers and the fans for their support in 2011. 275 drag radial is the hottest class going from coast to coast. It will only get better going forward.
